At BTS Spark we have a small team, but a big reach! Operating as a not-for-profit practice, we are 100% committed to supporting school leaders and teachers to do their best work, giving their students the best possible start in life.

We share a common passion to improve the quality of professional development offered to school leaders. Our work is complex and challenging. We partner with departments of education, school districts and networks, professional associations, multi-academy trusts and individual schools. We coach a wide range of educators, and we custom-design programmes to meet regional and local needs.

I am incredibly proud of our team at BTS Spark. We’re always on the lookout for sparky individuals with strong track records as headteachers, trust leaders or education directors, to join our team as Spark Partners or Educational Leadership Coaches.

Rosie Connor

Spark Partners

Spark Partners reach out to their personal network of school leader colleagues to help more educators access coaching opportunities. They arrange coaching programmes with local schools, trusts, school networks and professional associations, and oversee the delivery of these programmes by our coaches.

To be successful in this role, you need a strong personal network in the education sector, headteacher experience and a zest for reaching out to schools to explore how we can meet their needs.

Flexible part-time, commission based role.

Educational leadership coaches

Educational leadership coaches work with school leaders either one-to-one or in small groups, supporting them to embrace new leadership mindsets that will strengthen their leadership practice. This is specialist coaching work requiring a high level of expertise.

To be successful in this role, you need to have coaching accreditation (eg. PCC or ACC level with International Coaching Federation), a track record of several years’ professional coaching experience and prior experience as a headteacher or senior school leader.
