Our Team

We are deeply proud of our team

We share a passion for making quality leadership development available to the many rather than the few. We hold to the highest quality standards and invest heavily in the ongoing professional learning for our coach community.

The breadth of our curriculum and the quality of our professional development means that we are an employer of choice for coaches globally.

We believe in the accreditation of coaching as a profession. Just as all schools require teachers to be qualified, we require all our coaches to hold professional coaching qualifications. Coaches are also expected to have a minimum of five years professional experience as leadership coaches before they join us.

We have over 300 coaches in our global coach community.

Meet our UK team

Our UK team has a wealth of experience working with schools, colleges, universities and third sector organisations, and supporting leaders at all levels, including those in trust/executive and system leadership roles.  We work with a number of multi-academy trusts to support their central teams and develop their school leaders, and partner with a range of professional learning providers, funders and school networks – such as the UCL Institute of Education (where we coach participants on their NPQEL programme) and Challenge Partners.

We have over 25 professional coaches and facilitators across the UK who work with our education and non-profit clients. Our coaches all hold recognised coaching qualifications, many at advanced levels, and are typically members of the International Coach Federation, with Professional Coach or Associate Coach credentials. Others will be members of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. All have hundreds of hours' of coaching experience, (thousands of hours' in many cases) and all have a wealth of experience working with school leaders, as well as BTS' corporate sector clients.

Within the team, individual coaches will have received specialist training in particular approaches such as facilitation, executive coaching, ontological coaching, life coaching, solution-focused coaching, performance coaching, career coaching, team coaching, coaching supervision, the Harthill Leadership Development Framework, transactional analysis and neurolinguistic programming.  Many are master practitioners with regard to specific approaches, and all are trained and accredited to work transformationally with our BTS mindset-based leadership curriculum and toolkit.

Amongst our team, members also hold Masters and post-graduate qualifications in fields such as Change Agent Skills and Strategies, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Human and Organisational Systems, Education, and a range of relevant certificates in training, leadership development and assessment. We have coaches accredited to use a range of diagnostic assessment tools, including Myers Briggs MBTI®, Life Styles Inventory, Belbin team roles, Hogan, Firo-B®, Lominger 360 and Clifton Strengths.
